Camp Arrowhead - Lake Simcoe

About Us

Our summer program is geared for children ages 3-14 who love spending their summers at the cottage but don't want to miss out on a true camping experience. Conveniently located in beautiful Belle Ewart, Camp Arrowhead spans over 280 feet of the Lake Simcoe Shoreline. Camp Arrowhead is a Jewish community based day camp operated by a Parent's Association which keeps the concerns of parents and the delights of children clearly in mind.

Camp Arrowhead is dedicated to providing good old fashioned camp activities and an extensive waterfront program in a day camp setting. In keeping with Arrowhead's long standing affiliation with United Jewish Appeal (UJA), we are committed to assisting campers build their Jewish identity through a variety of activities. Our connection to Jewish traditions, culture and religion is strong. Our inclusive and age-appropriate approach aims to ensure that all members of our diverse community feel valued and comfortable and able to participate in the cultural and traditional songs, crafts, stories and activities that are planned. Our Friday night Oneg Shabbat services are a cherished Camp Arrowhead tradition and serve as both a meaningful way to conclude the week and to welcome the Sabbath.

Camp Arrowhead provides children with the same experience they would receive at overnight camp but the flexibility to return back to the cottage to enjoy precious moments with their family.

At Camp Arrowhead we recognize the importance of growth in every individual child. The role of the Jewish family and community is an integral part of our values. Throughout the summer we strive to build a vibrant community amongst the campers, parents and staff. Our directors, head staff, counselors and Parent's Association work year round to plan exciting summeractivities which will enhance your child's growth and provide experiences that will live on in their hearts many years into the future.
